Meet The Instructors
Linda Mertens is an ACE (American Council on Exercise) certified personal trainer and certified group fitness instructor.
Linda has been involved in fitness for 20 years. Linda weighed close to 200 lbs during her senior year in college and decided she needed to do something about it. Linda took up exercise and drastically changed her eating habits. That is when she developed a passion for fitness and health. Training with kettlebells has become one of her favorite forms of working out and has seen tremendous gains in her own strength and fitness. Linda is also currently in school working on her degree in personal training and will graduate in 2010. Linda believes that knowledge is power and wants to educate clients so that they can live a long and healthy life.
Outside of training clients and teaching kettlebell classes, Linda enjoys running, biking, hiking, cross country skiing, and snow shoeing. Linda is married and has three daughters she loves spending time with.
Linda is a certified NCSF (National Council on Strength and Fitness) Personal Trainer.
